Many men and women who want to correct the look of wrinkles, sagging, puffiness, or under eye hollows visit our office to discuss eyelid surgery in Palm Desert. Real Patient Results

Our Approach

Cosmetic Surgery Institute takes a comprehensive approach to eyelid surgery in order to treat a broad range of eye concerns. Unlike traditional eyelid surgery, which involves only the removal of skin from the upper or lower lids, our surgeons include the use of lasers and fat transfers to treat additional problems such as under eye hollowness or crepey skin around the eyes. Not only will you appear more alert and approachable after surgery, but your results will continue to improve over the next several months.

Your Choices

What can rhinoplasty do to enhance the appearance of my nose?

Rhinoplasty can narrow or straighten the bridge of your nose, eliminate a hump or reduce nostril size. It can also change your nose's outward projection or reshape an overly bulbous, narrow, wide or boxy tip. It can even decrease the overall size of your nose.

Can rhinoplasty help me to breathe better?

This surgery usually involves straightening the septum to clear the nasal passages, which can restore breathing or eliminate snoring. In many cases, trauma such as a broken nose will cause scar tissue buildup inside the nasal passages. Surgery can clear the airway of this scar tissue.

Will my insurance cover rhinoplasty?

Many health insurance plans will cover rhinoplasty procedures aimed at improving nasal function. Patients with conditions such as a deviated septum can have difficulty breathing and issues with snoring. Surgery treats conditions that impair a person's quality of life, often improving the ability to sleep and exercise. In some cases, functional and cosmetic concerns are addressed in the same procedure, and insurance will pay for the medically necessary part of the surgery.

What to Expect

Depending on the extent of your rhinoplasty, you may receive general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Your surgeon will perform your procedure through small incisions made either inside your nostrils or across the columella (the external tissue between your nostrils). Your procedure may include the grafting of cartilage from your septum or ear to enhance the appearance of your nose.

Enhancing Your Look

Your surgeon may recommend other procedures such as eyelid surgery to enhance the results of your rhinoplasty. Non-surgical treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic or injectable fillers may also maximize your results..
