COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update:
To all of our valued patients at Cosmetic Surgery Institute,
In light of Governor Newsom’s mandatory quarantine request, CSI has decided to suspend all elective surgeries and non-surgical services beginning today, March 20 to April 6. This situation is temporary and it will come to pass. We shall all be better and stronger as a result of it. In the meantime, an ounce of prevention will be many times worth its weight in gold.
I would like to caution everyone to stay middle of the course. Do not over or under steer. Back to basics is the name of the game. Hand sanitization and minimal skin contact is the key. In surgical terms, we use UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS at all times. This simply means to imagine that everyone is infected around you. This will allow you to use good judgement and common sense. Please everyone, do not look at this as a punishment. Look at this as a way that we can all come together as a community and defeat this virus.
This leads me to another point. I am in deep gratitude to you all for allowing me and our CSI family to serve this community for so many years. We at CSI take so much pride in being here at your service.
I want everyone to know that our team of dedicated medical professionals are on call for you 24/7. We are just a phone call away and you can get in touch with us through our answering service via our office number, 760-837-0364. You may also email our Practice Manager, Tamara Sullivan, with any questions. All of our post-surgical patients will be seen as planned and on a regular basis.
I urge all to proceed with caution. Steer your ship towards hope and beware of negativity. Empower yourselves to keep calm by avoiding panic. In these trying times, choose to stop and see the beauty in our mountains. Stop and acknowledge the fragile beauty of our blossoming cacti and the flutter of a hummingbird. Sit and breathe deep and soak in the amazement of a sunset. Go for a hike and feel and hear the earth speaking to you. Above all, practice kindness and compassion. Good thoughts, good words, and good deeds.
I am honored and humbled to go through these difficult times flanked by such amazing people and to be of service to our outstanding community.
