PicoSure uses optimal pulse durations for the removal of pigment, including black, red, and yellow ink. It gets its name from the fact that the pulses of light take just a picosecond or a trillionth of a second. This treatment works by using pigment-seeking technology to identify ink or hyperpigmentation. PressureWave technology uses a vibration to mechanically break the ink or pigment apart, unlike other lasers that only use heat.
